Is the a roo or hen?

I am helping someone out with their chicken. I am no expert in silkies though. Kind of looks like a boy to me

We need a full body shot and an age (or guess of the age) to be sure. But from this angle it does look rooish.

Ok, his/her age is 27 weeks old.

I would say roo, but at 27 weeks, you should know its a roo. I mean, its 6 months, should be crowing already... Unless he's a smart one and keeps quiet so he won't be rehomed! LOL. But going to say roo. Good tail shot from the side would be good, hackles too....

I say roo from comb size and the swept back crest. The hackles and tail feathers are also rooish

Based on the pics, I'd guessed roo too. But it does seem like he would have crowed by now
