Is the Barred Rock a cockerel?

Too funny! I keep wondering if we are going to end up with any roosters. Do any of yours have a more assertive personality? My Easter Egger thinks she’s a lap chicken. It’s the cutest. The one Barred rock wants to jump on me and peck hands.

They’re so funny!! I have 3 BR and 3 Rhode Island Reds. There’s one of each that do the same as what you’re saying. Very assertive! I also hope I don’t get roosters and they these gals are just very pushy
