I think I see thin hackle feather on the black bird (Ameraucana?) in the upper right corner behind the Welsummer and barred rock.. I cannot make out saddles from that far away though to confirm.Can you explain why it’s a female?
I had a broody hen hatch 8 (mixed breed) eggs (not her own). They ALL look like females to me but my eggs are now fertilized so obviously atleast one in the bunch is a rooster. This and one other was the only one that I had suspicions of.
I thought for sure I’d be able to tell which ones are roosters and this wouldn’t be a problem but
