Hey it's been a while since I've seen the subject come up on software. So I'm just wondering if anyone is currently using any or aware of anything new? I'm thinking of something along the lines of Embark for dogs where you can setup profiles and document a family tree online, perhaps even connect with other keepers who share stock.

But I have another question to piggy back off this and would ask what your recs on books that cover breeding standards and methods are? particularly any you've read and found valuable. I'm looking for beginners guides to genetics, and SOP.

I have everything in a long chronological list right now on OneNote, and it's becoming cumbersome to find anything. I had researched several months ago and found out I'd either have to pay a nominal fee for a really nice program, or find an Excel worksheet I can modify with my own columns. I've since learned Google Sheets does a nice job too, but I just need some time to sit down and do it!

That's really too bad to hear. It's what the year 2024? and we're still wondering when an app for poultry keepers will come about?
