Well, our girls are eating layer feed, have oyster shell free choice and free range several hours a day. The problem is every morning I am finding 2 broken jelly eggs right under the roost. This has been going on for over a week now. I am not sure which of our 18 hens it is but is there something else I need to do?

They are about 23 weeks and several have been laying for almost a month now getting 5 to 6 eggs a day so I know everyone is not laying but what can I do?

Maybe try switching their calcium source? If you're doing oyster shell try limestone instead or vice versa... You can also try feeding crushed egg shells to the girls. Some will say to heat it to dry it (microwave or oven). I just let it dry out naturally and then crush it and toss it out with additional treats (fruit/veggie scraps).
