Just came in from building my grow out coop for the 2 new girls arriving this week from McMurray. I have 4 adult EEers and need a space to keep them separate for a couple of weeks until they got to know each other.
I up-cycled a dog house that had been in my yard, unused for the past 5 years. I found all the scraps in my garage to patch the rotten parts and convert to a chicken friendly space.
I love to spend money on my girls so I am really proud that I didn't to to Lowe's once. Now i just need to go get some feed! It's already dark outside so I'll post pictures tomorrow.
