Understand but I believe I saw they cancelled the Mulvane swap for the remainder of 2015. So might be wise to call before making the trek. Just saying.........

Fire370 is right. Person to person transactions cant really be banned but all Chicken events where there is the the possibility of separate flocks meeting has been banned in the State of Kansas for the 2015 calendar year. I am honestly not sure if hatcheries are allowed to sell or ship live chicks into the state. Perhaps check out craigslist and be ever vigilant about inspecting the birds.

Hey Crazy, just saw your post. Do you ever search for Kansas chicken swap on facebook? I live out north of coffeyville in the southeast corner of the state and I found a page called southeast kansas chicken swap where I've found out about a lot of gatherings. You might be able to find something closer to wichita if you do a general search for kansas chicken/poultry swap first. Just a thought,
