One of the neighbourhood kids (about 11 years old) came over to see the chickens today. His first question was “will the chickens cast a spell on me?”. This kid was not even joking, he was completely convinced these chickens would cast a spell on him.

I managed to not tell him that my chickens were secret witch’s in disguise.

That child must be watching too many horror movies. Or comes from an ODD FAMILY
Only thing I had children ask me about my chickens,,,, DO THEY BITE,, And they were much smaller than eleven years of age.

If chickens could cast spells, I'm sure mine would force me to feed them more treats!

Wonder who filled this kid's head with such a random thought? Maybe the parents should be monitoring his screen time. Or, heaven forbid, his book time (do youngsters still read books?).
