Cairo, Derek, and Scyene milled around the spring, waiting for Derek's concussion to heal.

"Derek..." Scyene murmured.

"What is it?" He asked, somewhat concerned from the tone of her voice.

"I think they're here..." she murmured before letting out a yelp of pain.

"Okay! Just stay calm or the pain will be much worse!" Derek urged. Scyene gasped for air as she felt her pups kick around inside her stomach.

"You'll be able to fight much better once its over, think of it that way." Derek encouraged. Scyene, however, only gave a fake weak smile as her stomach muscles began to cramp.
 
Are they near the fighting?

Her claw hardly did any damage, it wasn't long enough. Sam's long claws, however, penetrated deep into her body, leaving bloody and broken.

She began to flutter her wings releasing a dark mist into Sam's eyes blinding him.
 
Sam growled and shut his eyes while maintaining an iron grip on her. Kate, however, had weakened Valasca's powers enough that it wasn't enough to completely blind him.

Sam dragged Valasca with him, the tumbling causing Sam's greater weight to break several of Valasca's bones.

Kate snarled and leaped onto Lark's shoulders, shifting into a polar bear and growing to roughly 3x larger then even Sam. Her weight crushed him underneath her and her claws reopened the wounds caused by the rats.
