Lavender Ameraucana - 10 week old pullets or cockerels?

I ordered 3 Lavender Ameraucana chicks from Cackle Hatchery, all were supposed to be hens. They sent me 4 healthy little chicks, but now I'm wondering if 3 out of the 4 that I received are cockerels.

Leelee just started crowing so I'm assuming cockerel. Winglet and Stormi both look very similar to Leelee but have not crowed. Nevaeh is the only one that I'm pretty sure is a pullet; she has a very small comb and it's not red or pink at all.

Any guesses?

You’re correct.

Yep, I’d agree with 3 cockerels and one pullet. Look at the tail feathers. The cockerels aim down all frilly like whereas your pullet sticks out straight on a 45 degree angle.

You can probably call them and get a refund since the pullets are usually more expensive than the cockerels.

Really hoping someone can help me out. I ordered a lavender orpington pullet from a hatchery and got 2 lavender ameraucanas instead. Happy accident, but I know almost nothing about them, most importantly whether or not I got pullets. They are seven weeks old, any ideas? They have almost no combs at all.

I think the one in the front is almost certainly a pullet, but it’s tougher to tell with the one in the back. Ameraucanas mature very slowly! But they are just the best chickens 😍😍

I am so glad!! They both seem to have similar builds so I'm hoping they're both pullets. They are sweet girls but I don't know anything about ameraucanas. I did read that they fly, is that true?

Yeah they definitely can fly! Mine don’t very often, but I now have a covered run for them and my bantam birds!

The pullets can be a bit nervous and flighty, so lots of handling goes a long way! All of mine get along really well with all of my chickens, bantams and standards, silkies and Polish. The rooster boys are my babies and always visit me. Puff is my favorite boy and he gets mad if we go too many days without snuggle time 😍 I think they are such great chickens!
