Yeah I asked the breeder and she seems to think she is a girl and said she does have barred lavenders. I am inclined to believe you too, because of barring genetics though. And it’s huge…but the comb and wattles have thrown me for a loop because it’s very light and has stayed the same size since week 4. My other lavenders had twice the wattles by 9 weeks. I’m gonna keep calling her a her in hopes that the universe will be kindI'm inclined to agree . I currently have barred blue English Orpingtons, also just over 9 weeks old. Yours looks like my boys. The girls develop a little slower and are smaller in size at that age. If you really need to know, might be an idea to ask your breeder what the parents background is, because barring is sex linked...though my knowledge of the genetics of barring isnt great!
