We were so glad to find this thread. We too got a suddenly stunted egg. Now we know there's nothing to worry about. Don't know what we'd do without BYC.

I got my first tiny egg today. The people that I got these chickens from sent me home a bunch of them one time. I cooked them up for my daughter. She thought it was just awesome.

I would say no. I have broke a couple open and sometimes there isn't even a yolk.
