Laying Hen with Diarrhea

Put a few in a baggie and smack them with the back of a spoon to break them up.
If she won't eat any you can pulverize them then melt in a scant amount of water and try to get it into her with a dropper.
And by scant I mean 1/2-1tsp.
1 tsp= 5 ml.
It would take a long time to get that in her if she dislikes it.

Feels more swollen, mouth breathing and not wanting to move. I pulled her out of the crate to love on her, when I sat her back down she went back to the crate to stand. My husband culled her for me. Although she had energy and good color, I knew she was uncomfortable and it was the right thing to do.

Oh my. I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet girl.
You made a loving decision though, Sassy.
Sesame's been a lucky girl to live in two Chicken Heavens,
One on earth with you and the other where no there's no limit to the treats a good chicken angel can have.
:hugs
