We actually have dual Broodies.. In the SAME NEST BOX!! Dorks. They are Black Breasted Red Old English Game Bantams. And we DO use a cardboard box for nest boxes, at least for the bantams.. They work really nice, they have a little round hole in the front, and mom cut out a square in the back..

This is Lacey, a partridge cochin. She is probably about 5 weeks old in this picture. I don't have many pictures of her without her face in the camera! She is 8 weeks old tomorrow. She is the stinker of the group, nipping and pulling on my clothes. Playing with her is always entertaining.
