Lest see your best stink eye!!!!

This is Soufflé. She's 9 weeks old and on the fringes of the flock. She just has that look and gives it from the opposite side of the coop, always. I wouldn't say she's unfriendly, just extremely wary. She gets put in her place quite a bit by the largest BO.

This one has given us the stinkeye from the very beginning!

Our broody hen gave up on her 3 eggs about 10 days or so early. We didn't know for 2 days, so they were just ambient temperature (77 to 82 or so) for those 2 days. After I found them I shoved the 3 eggs into a small bowl in the brooder with 2 older chicks, and didn't do anything else with them, feeling that they were a loss. They sat pretty much ignored in that bowl for about 10 days in the brooder, and I had been meaning to throw them out. Wow--I am glad I forgot!

I woke up to this stinkeye face telling me to "talk to the hand"

...she was letting me know she didn't appreciate being given up on!

And here she is at about 2 weeks old...giving me the stinkeye for waking her up from a nap
