One of my guinea hens went from being totally normal to having yellow and white water poop and walking slow, staying a little puffed up, and keeping to herself. She still has the energy to get onto her perch at night but I have seen her laying down outside for the past few afternoons, which she never did before. She does leave the coop in the morning but that is about it and I don't think she is eating much. I have seen her drink water.

I haven't vaccinated my birds or treated them with Wazine but regularly put cayenne papper, ginger, garlic and cinnamon in their food and they get a lot of time outside.

I have also felt her body and didn't feel any extra baggage in her crop or any lumps lower like she might have an internal egg or something.

Please help! I don't know how much longer she can go like this. I noticed today a second hen is showing subtle signs of the same thing. Closing her eyes, walking a little slower and looking down towards her crop like there is something not right going on in there....

My Guinea hen had the same behavior, however she developed little blisters on her feet and then a few in face. I thought she was done for it but after 2 weeks she started feeling better and she is still with us. She is one of my best layers sometimes 3 a day. While she was sick she lost a lot of weight and she really never gained it back, so we started to call her "skinny Guinea".
I didn't see the blisters in the very beginning until much later so I couldn't separate my other chicken from the guinea hen. No other hen got sick.
Just keep a good eye on her and feed her anything she likes, hopefully she'll make it through. Best wishes

Thanks! I started the birds on Corid today and gave her a syringe of liquid vitamin. This evening I massaged her crop and she threw up a black liquid?! I kept massaging and she kept throwing up for several minutes....

Yes, the vet would be best. Do you think the black vomit contains blood? Or, do you think it might be junk that got stuck in her crop? How long has she been sick now? Any signs of it getting better?
