Let's play "Who's My Daddy?"!

My buff silkie hatched out this little one yesterday. Dad could be:

1. Partridge Silkie roo
2. Porcelain Silkie roo
3. LF Salmon Faverolles roo

The chick has mostly brown/buff on the head/face, lots of grey/blue on the wings and back.

Little chickie is living in my office at the moment as it was pretty weak when it hatched and mom kept pecking at it and throwing it out of the nest. Hopefully it will make it.

I have NO idea, but I just had to comment on what a little cutie he is. That 2nd picture just melted my heart. He's saying "Love me no matter who my daddy is!"

That's what I was thinking too. The Porcelain roo has a thing for the buff hen (and the Partridge roo favors my black silkie hen), but the SF roo is the top dog (chicken?), so he gets whoever he wants.

Thank you! It is such an adorable little chick! I'm hoping to get it stronger here in the house with me so that it can join the others in the coop at some point. I do hope it pulls through - it is pretty wobbly on its feet and can't really hold its wings up very well, but it chirps and drinks/eats and stumbles around so I think it has a good chance.
