Lice

Picked up a few silkies, a turkey, & a couple of guinea hens only to find lice on them. We're treating them but we've never had this problem before. My question is once treated how long does it take before they are cured.

Poultry powder or Sevin. I go in at night and sprinkle powder on everyone and and ruffle it into their feathers. Then you do a follow up (can't remember how much later) something like a week, two later to kill the new hatched eggs. It's very easy.

Thanks for the info, that group was quarantined plus everyone else are going to treated.
