Hi All,

I have three Light Sussex that I believe are all pullets. They are aged between 18-20 weeks (the one with the darker neck feathers is the oldest).

Please can someone advise on the sex from the below pictures?

Cockerels at this age would look pretty different.

They'd have larger combs and wattles

The'd have long, pointy hackle and saddle feathers.

They would be taller, with longer legs.

The legs would be thicker.

Your birds are very feminine looking. They're soft, rounded, no long flashy feathers in the hackle or saddle area, and a nice small comb that's turning red.
