Hi all.. I'm outside Krotz Springs(Between BR and Opelousas.

I started building my new coop today, Going to be a 8x8 house with a 10x25 run. Plan on getting about 4-6 hens for eggs(white preferably..per wife and son)

Any suggestions on what breeds I should look for in our heat?
I really like the look of Brabanters so, I hope to get 2 of those(no matter the egg color

).. If I can find em.
