I've introduced Lana and Tori, now I give you Lucy. Little Lucy is a very special Brahma chick. She's earned the nickname Nubby or Nubs or Nub Nub due to her... well.. nubby wings. I brought her and her sister (well two sisters, Audrey and Marilyn, unfortunately Marilyn was dead the next morning) home as little poofy hatchlings on 04/05. Whilst Audrey is now quite feathery and has your typical long, straight wings, Lucy is still a little fuzz ball. Her wings are finally starting to get feathers, but just on the ends and as I've said, they're very nubby in shape. I've seen ducks with the condition "angel wings" and I'm kind of wondering if that's the culprit. Or maybe "she" is just a "he", I honestly wouldn't know (never had a cockerel before).
She's an otherwise very healthy and happy chick. She's actually larger than Audrey, which makes her fuzziness extra confusing. But she's adorable so I'm not mad
