Got these Easter Egger baby’s and me and the breeder tried to make sure we did our research on sexing the chicks by wings/feathers. Well we both second guessed ourselves in the process and did the best we could. I came home with 10 chicks. Hoping to have all hens. In this picture I have two different chicks that look like they have two different types of feathers. Are both female? Is one male or are they both female? I can get better pictures of the wings if needed!

If the breeder knows that the mother has the dominant slow feathering gene and the father has only the recessive fast feathering gene then the chicks can be wing feather sexed. If the breeder does not know that then the chicks cannot be reliably wing feather sexed, if it works for them then it is pure luck. Feather sexing is best done right after hatch. The longer since hatch the less reliable it is.

If the genetics were set up correctly then that is probably a female.
