I bought two wellsummer chicks from Wilco in April and I'd like to know if you guys think one is a cockerel, the white tipped feathers are throwing me.
The gold necked pullet is the other wellsummer who definitely looks to be the right thing, and I know wellsummer roos are red and black while the hens are this color. So, why the white tipped feathers? Will they go away?

Why does the red one in question have pink legs while the brown one has yellow legs?

Agreed! X2-looks to be good looking pullets, lucky you :) Love SS girls, they are great.
Yes my sis has a Sussex named Snowy, and she is the most friendly of her birds. These two are named Hershey (the wellsummer) and Graham Cracker (suspected Sussex)
Graham Cracker has earned the name Graham Crackhead because she is a flighty little wacko
