Aww, so sorry about your little one, she was such a cutie.

They do grow too fast. I swear sometimes you can almost watch the "big-duck" feathers poke through, lol.

Yep, he's an indoor ducky. He goes outside to forage in the grass, but only if mom or big brother (my cat) are right there because he gets scared Thanks for the welcome! I was excited to find this site!

I don't have tame mallards but wild ones visit my pond now and then in the spring and the last two weeks we have seen them everyday but one. Here are some pics:

My Pyrrhos has been disappearing during the day. We saw a wild male Mallard yesterday, so maybe she's got a boyfriend lol ;P

More Pyrrhos! The sneaky little devil is gone after breakfast, and back before dinner, lol. I'm not sure if she's flying out of the backyard, or if she just found a really good hiding place. I believe she's sitting on eggs.
