Malpositioned chick pipped shell but not membrane?

This is my very first time incubating eggs. It's day 21 going on 22, and so far the only egg to pip has pipped on the pointy end. I noticed it 5 hours ago, and a piece of shell just now broke off revealing that the membrane appears still intact.

I can see the broken shell pieces moving so I know the chick is still trying. I've read about the importance of not assisting too soon, and obviously it hasn't been very long yet, but also I hear the chick probably isn't getting air, is that correct? Does anyone have advice for me as to what you'd do in this situation?

That pip looks fine and the chick should be getting enough oxygen through there. As it’s missed the internal pip out of hatching it is likely to take longer to hatch. They can and do hatch from wrong end pips though. Just incase there is some info here ~ ASSISTED HATCHING
Okay great thanks! I just thought it was supposed to be a hole rather than covered with the white membrane, I wasn't sure it could breathe through there.

Okay so it's been zipped for 2.5 hours now, still not out.

Is that normal?
