All are looking good. I fed Mama some mash and then checked them over.

Even the little one from the crushed egg looks good. Time will tell! Gave it a once over and legs and wings look good and moving! (They's the dark chipmunk stripe)

Well... Have one chick so far! One crushed, we'll see if they make it. Noticed it last night and I'm wondering if Mama got startled during our severe weather.

Have Mama moved and blocked off and ready to welcome the babies in weather that dropped to high forties after being low sixties all week haha lol she knows what she's doing though and kept her latch batch all cozy in December lol

I have a feeling I'm gonna be checking on her often today hehe

Five of six placed hatched! (Six was unfertilized)

The crushed egg, I helped, not certain, still not, but it was moving, and semi opening eyes. We'll keep an eye on it and see how it goes.

they are so cute! My hen only hatched one I can’t imagine five! Hope the little one makes it!

Four of the five are eating after Mama declares it safe lol

The little Survivor, from crushed egg, is still alive, fed it some yolk, and put it back next to Mama and just cheeped. Poked it's head into the spatula and it would eat/drink some (mash is runny with egg yolk). So wondering if maybe it might be blind. Time will tell, Mama kept trying to get it to eat.

Didn't have enough hands to take pictures of the Survivor eating due to being sticky with yolk lol

And... Then there were 9... couldn't pass up some more easter eggers that are same size of ours.

Mama was none the wise lol I popped them in behind her while I gave her feed and she clucked and they all came out.

She such a good Mama!

(And if I notice her get overwhelmed I'll transfer to inside brooder who will be outside next week lol)
