Marans Breeder and Price

I found a local breeder (Phyllis Eide) who will sell me a started, sexed Black Copper Marans hen for $30. Do you think that's a good price? She says the egg color is very good. As I don't care about breeding or showing, just egg color, I told her to save any cull-worthy hens for me!

So the price may be different for those. WDYT?

I dont have any Idea if you can check her egg color first that would be good I heard adozen black copper marans eggs just went for 130 so I guess the price is alright.

Thats a good price, it would be nice to see her eggs but get you a WELL bred roo and the offspring could be even better
