I have to hand turn my eggs since I have a still air with no turner I am using at the moment. I came in from outside and realized, I had not turned my eggs for a bit- then remembered, to not touch eggs with cold hands. So I didn't.

Ran to the sink to run your hands under hot water for a while?

Sorry. I can't help. Are you sure it's not just the membrane/yolk still attached?
