Membrane stuck to back of Helped Chick

We are hatching at a middle school and the membrane got stuck to the back of a chick I helped out of shell. Is happy but back and a small part of back of head are now dry with membrane. What are next steps?

I would take a wet washcloth and give it a bath to get it off.
