Memnoch & Mercury - Rustic Models

Recently, I've started a little series of pictures that I jokingly refer to as "Dramatic Chicken In Barn" with my 10 month old "twins" Memnoch (male) and Mercury (female). Thought I might share some of them here.











(Memnoch and Mercury are Silver Sebright/Golden Laced Polish mixes that I refer to as Quillbacks. They are the result of my first time incubating and hatching eggs.)

Hey, nothing's a better substitute for a parrot than a chicken! Alex and Cookie have both trained themselves to fly up on my outstretched arm at command, which I happen to think is pretty cool.

Memnoch & Mercury's first offspring! The little Cheeto puff hasn't gotten the hang of being a ham for the camera yet, so we'll see if he follows in his parents' footprints!
