Merging the flock

I guess I am not going there since I have never had a hen spend more time in the nest boxes than is absolutely necessary to lay an egg. I guess I'm sticking to my heating pad momma. Thanks for all the good info.

That is where my girls are @RoyalCoopMom. I got one under Anais without disturbing her much, got 2 more in but they didn't stay under. Anais started attacking my hand so I pulled it out but then she was attacking the loose chicks.

Her loss, she really wants to be a Momma. I'm going to put them out in the barn tomorrow, she can decide if she wants to get out of the nest box she went to this morning and help raise the "kids". If she doesn't she has a date with the broody buster motel.
