Metal roof for run- does color matter?

Planning our run, looking at 8 ft wide, 8 ft tall, and 16 ft long with a “lean-to” style slanted roof.

Menards has their steel roof panels on sale now and that’s what I plan to use. Husband thinks black would look best (it would) but I am concerned about heat. He doesn’t think it will really matter because the rest of the run will be open-air. What do you think?

Below you can see the coop (to be painted red) in its general final location. The run will be located off to the left and partially shaded by that big maple. This picture was taken facing north.

I wouldn't worry about what color you choose, it's not gonna make that much of a difference, IMO.

I doubt it will make a big difference, but if you close the sides of the run in winter the black might even help! (Probably still won’t make a difference!)
