Miracle Gro peat moss safe for dirt baths?

I made a dirt bath bin for my girls to get us through the winter for them to enjoy. The only kind of peat moss I could find was made by Miracle Gro and is enriched with plant food.

Is this safe to put in a bin for them to bath in?

Personally, I would not. What about buying play sand or even construction sand?

Miracle Grow is non-toxic, so it shouldn't be an issue. I've never used peat moss, though, just plain old dirt, or decomposed wood shavings, or wood ash.
