I hurt my back last week so my husband has been watering and feeding our three outdoor rabbits. Two are identical white (Californian) and black and the other grey. I am feeling better so I went out today to fluff bedding and add more hay etc and I am missing a white one! My husband thought it was there but since the pen has two large sections he just assumed she was in the other section while he was feeding the two. The bottom of the pen has fencing covered in dirt and the rest is either plexiglass glass or fencing and the top has a secure roof. No where to escape plus the ground is frozen......would someone steal a rabbit?? I am not sure what to think.

I'll bet when he had the cage open to take care of them it got away. Even if you turn your head for a split second they can jump out that door and be gone in a blink of an eye. I agree if someone was going to steal your rabbits they most likely wouldn't have taken just one.
