Hi everyone,
Nice to meet you all,
I have previously had 7 hedemora chickens hens ( Swedish bird in sweden) in my back yard flock, i have recently moved to Italy and have donated my birds to a good friend in Sweden and i have started again
im starting again and this time im going for a mixed flock approach.
I already have a Livorno Leghorn (oonagh), and a Creamy Legbar (Phoebie), they get along great even if Oonagh does chase Phoeboe around the run in a playful manner. I am also getting some Moresta Silkies too later this week.
My main question is we plan on getting a moresta rooster along with the silkies and as this will be our first rooster will he get along with the other 2 hens, will he try to mate with them or will he just stick to the silkies.
Thankyou
Steve
