My white call duck just hatched out 8 babies! She was laying a few eggs and I noticed her building a nest one day in the pen with my other calls so I took her and her fella and put them inside a breeding pen in my barn. She continued to lay eggs until she had 9 and then decided to sit. Once she started sitting on her eggs, I put the drake back in with the rest of the ducks and left her alone in the pen. Well today is day 27 since she started to sit, she hatched 8 of the 9. The 1 that did not hatch, died in the shell but was fully developed. Here they are:
