That is horrific! Do they have a good complaints line????-- I can't even imagine-- I would have been devastated.

I let the hatcher deal with that. I got a reshipment which arrived in the standard time (seems to be 2-2.5 days for me no matter where they're coming from), one DOA and the rest are doing fine (well, except I had one scissorbeak).

I'm so sorry for your losses! I feel blessed! My just hatched chick's came from Ohio Meyer hatchery shipped to me in California. I ordered 10 and thank God 10 arrived alive and healthy! 10 are growing up quite fast! 4 weeks old now. I was terrified of the long trip but Meyer used a heat pack and extra nesting material and it was still warm at arrival. I'm sure that helped a LOT!
