Here is my rooster Walnut!



He is my baby! I bring him everywhere!
He is so nice, at fair, I let him walk around the barn, and people would pet him!
I can just walk up to him and pick him up and he wont even do anything but just stand there

what happened to the little rooster?

His pretty crested head was the downfall of him. He had a vaulted skull. He was chasing lf hens, and my wyandotte rooster pecked him in the head, apparently just in the perfect spot where the skull was thinnest, as it killed him instantly. A similar fate almost befell my dear Macho, as he was chasing a lf hen to mate and she turned around and flogged him. Thankfully, it just knocked him out for a little while and didn't do any permanent damage. Here's Macho today. He's almost 6 months old now.
