Moved the babies out into their coop and they seem to be loving it. The first night we had to put them inside the coop but on day two they went in all on their own. Love seeing them happy and thriving 🥰

They're beautiful! My 6 week old chicks just got transferred to the coop yesterday. They seem much happier than in the brooder. I was worried for no reason!

After reading some advice posts, I decided to block the nesting boxes until they're closer to laying age.

How wonderful! They certainly look to be enjoying themselves. Love all the little touches you added for them- mirror, stump, etc. Ours have only been out since Thursday night...I miss them but love how they enjoy the outdoors full time.

I did the same with my nesting boxes. I come out at night to make sure they all got inside the coop before the door closes, 2 didn’t make it in last night and were sitting right out side the door like let us in lol . I worry too. We had a couple raccoons up in a tree a couple of days ago just waiting for night to fall.
