A big question when do you guys move out your coturnix chicks. I have 15 that are a little bit more than a week old and I was thinking on moving them out already since sheathed it's good well might be a tad too hot. It around 95 during the day and at night can get as low as 65 but it's most of the time at 70 at night. Do you guys think it's a good idea to move them out now?
Also do you guys thing it's ok if I put them on 1/2 welded chicken wire at only 1 week old?
Thanks in advance

The Wire Size Is Fine But I Personally Dont Move Them Out Until Feathered, Irreguardless Of The Temperature, And 65-70 At Night Without A Supplimental Heat Source Is Too Cold For 1 Weekers.

Oh Yeah, Usually By 3 Wks Or So The Feather Up Pretty Good, Definately By 4 Wks.

If The Nights Are Mild And You Keep Them In An Enclosed Brooder You Can Move Them Outside But Keep The Heat Lamp On At Night So They Dont Get Too Cold.
