This year I've found Muscovies offered by several hatcheries. I tried to get them before but was told they were illegal. I found this: "U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: - Muscovy Ducks: You do not need a federal permit to raise and sell captive-reared muscovy ducks (See 50 CFR 21.54 ). Is there anything in writing that clearly states if they are legal to raise as pets or not? I am in upstate NY. TIA
