She is so colorful. I think mutts are so pretty. My yard is filled with them and I only have two pure anything. I get compliments on my flock by all my visitors. I also think that mixing the breeds makes for healthier birds. No science on this but that is my thought.

My Mystery chick?! My neighborhood friend rescued a rooster off the highway, he looks to be a bantam all black and brown with long feathers. He ended up having relations with her normal sized golden hen, and here is the result baby, Sunny. She was a egg given to me and my happy foster mama in the pic. Do you think I'll end up with a Bantam or a larger breed chicken??
