Now the waiting game really begins, it could take up to 24 hrs to hatch after the first pip. but this is good. they still have yoke to use up after they pip, and breathing our air helps them to absorb that yoke. sometimes people want to help because they see them struggle in the egg, but that is what makes them strong. It is like a baby turtle crawling on a beach. if you pick up the turtle and carry it to the water it will not have be strong enough to swim.

3 hatched so far! All 6 have pipped...I'm pretty sure one died in the zipping process though, not sure why :( but at least 2 of the 3 are girls because those 2 are sex-linked :) The third is not sex-linked so idk its gender. Now just waiting on the last 2 to make some progress!

Yay! I hope some of mine will hatch! that chick is so adorable!
