My beautiful Drake was mualed to death.

By this stray dog whos been lurking around. I thought Lou~King was going to be ok. I gave him a warm shower, cleaned his wounds, dried him off and put him in a clean dry cage for the night with food and water. He was dead this morning. I'm so upset. The dog is wild. We can't catch it and barely even see it. And we work all day. Augh. Unless the hens start laying soon, I won't be able to raise his ducklings either. So mad and sab.

Can you call your county animal services? Down here they only come out if there is a stray.

You need to call animal control and have them set a trap. Your other animals are at risk now.

Poor ducky

I lost four of my ducks.to my moms own dog

which is worse I think cause then you have to live with the beast

You need to get that beast taken care of! Call animal control! Your other animals are at risk!

Maybe think about improving your pen so the dog can not get in and harm another one of your ducks. If you tell animal control that it went after and did kill one of your animals they should come out with in the day.
