My chicken had been sick for over a week now. I found her eating her own egg one morning- she ate it all- and that is when i began picking up sickness symptoms. I had worm and coccidiose medicine, so i gave that to her daily thinking it must be one of those.
In the beginning she seemed very tired, with her tail and head down. She didnt eat, drink or move at all.
Over the course of the week her eyes began looking more active, and she'd walk a few steps sometimes. Her tail never went up fully though. She had diarrea the entire time, and didn't clean herself.
(she also lost more than half her weight)
This morning i was giving her her medicine when all of a sudden she flew out of my arms and had a sort of spasm attack on the ground. Her limps and wings went in all weird directions. I picked her up as quick as possible and was trying to calm her down when she just went limp. I don't know what caused her death yet, but i want to find out as soon as possible so i know what to look out for next time. Any ideas what it could be?
