Mine are about a week to week and a half old, most don’t make a noise they talk but it is quiet. Now Loud Mouth as we have named her, you can guess she is a screamer. Now add on top of that she has development issues, and we have her isolated from the flock for her safety while she heals up, she is a screamer. I can hear her on the other side of the house where you normal can’t yell and have someon hear what you said lol..

Some of them are screamers in the brooder! I have found that these chicks grow up to be the more affectionate chickens in the flock.

Doesn’t help the brooder is in the bedroom right now, seemed like a cool idea at the time. Wife has said a few times hush or you the first to get the pot lol.
