My husband thinks I'm chicken crazy! Any one else have this problem?

6 RIR Pullets, 1 RIR Roo, 5 Araucana Pullets, 1 Araucana Roo, 3 Dogs (all inside), 3 tree frogs, 1 hamster and 1 parakeet . . . .5 kids!

My husband knows I'm crazy!!

i lost track of how many chickens but I think it is around 40-50 at this point and hoping for more in the spring
oh and 1 bunny
I think that is all but there may be more running around here that i do not know about lol

And when I'm on this site and ya'll start showing pics of you're cute ducks, turkeys, and other fuzzy/furry/feathered animals I start talking like getting more and then I get the look! I'm sure you know what I'm talking about!

Ha ha ha, me either, I've only lived in this house for a year....I have 5 acres......I feel I've just begun!!!

I ordered 25 chicks in the fall.
I made a recycled chicken coop out of an old travel trailer.
I bought two more chicks from a guy a couple weeks ago.
I ordered a 2 year subscription to backyard poultry.
I am wanting to get fertile Japanese bantam eggs for a broody hen to hatch in spring.
I am dreaming of building a chicken tractor in the spring to add those maturing chicks to it.

Chicken crazy? My wife might say so. (but she likes em too).

My signature line only tells what's living here at the moment. DH thinks I'm nuts because when he asked what I wanted for Christmas I said, "the largest plastic Rubber Maid tote box you can get, a roll of hardware cloth, a heat lamp and guard etc, and a copy of the Murray McMurray catalog."
