It is not very important how much to turn your eggs as long as it is not a full turn :) Just make sure you turn them an odd number of time a day as evenly and widely spread around the clock as possible. The reason for turning eggs is to prevent the embryo getting stuck to the shell membrane so as long as you turn them, it will work out fine.

Thanx for this im new to bating eggs and will be doing so over the next week or so. i have a manual bator so will have to turn manually. will it be ok to put tehm in a smaller like sandwhich box mark the eggs and turn in the smaller rub in the bator ...... so 3 or 5 times a day enough? id just be worried if not turning for several hours whilst asleep ???
