Wooo Hooo! My new incubator came today!! The ReptiPro 5000! Im so excited I just had to post pics! I feel so Si-Fi and Star Trekie! I've only ever had Hova Bators so this will be quite the step up into the 21st century! My hubby is already online looking at eggs. He was so funny-the first thing he said was " Wow that's gonna be real easy to clean". Im hoping to try it out before I get my Orloff eggs. So without further ado, the ReptiPro 5000- Oh yeah....please ignore the messy table;)

Wow! Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

@ HennyPen-no, this does not have a turner. You can get one for it, but personally, I've have more trouble with turners then they are worth and have had better success without a turner as with one. I do want to add another shelf. This unit holds up to three shelves but for chicken eggs, the top two shelves might be to close together.

@calgal98-I think as a hatcher it would be ok, but space it limited so you would need to watch how many eggs you place in it. I've always hatched in my incubator so I'm planning on hatching in it so as soon as they pip, the water tray will come out and the babies can pip out on the bottom. I also can make a solid shelf or two for the top and they can pip and hatch there as well. Once the babies are dry then they will go into a brooder.

@ducklover1-that is really good to know. I cant wait to use this one and compare the experience the difference between this one and the Hova Bator.
