My pheasant eggs arrived today!

The Frozen Wasteland of Idaho
I came home to a suspicious box on my front porch that was sent from Pennsylvania.

It looked like this:

And here they are! 2 dozen pheasant eggs from wilds of pa & hinkjc.

Well Buster, the po did a good job with the package..got there fairly fast and no damage on the outside..Hope you have a great hatch..

Just remember after the hatch,, Brooder space and temp are very important to raising a good young brood of pheasant chicks..

They really are not that much trouble to raise if things are done correctly..They are a bit more Sensitive to space and temps then chickens and turkeys. as long as they get what they want, things will go very smoothly for you.

Feel free to ask..Im no expert..but i will tell you what i know and learned..which is what makes things so much fun raising other species..If it wouldnt be fun for me, i wouldnt do it...The wilds are my favorite..
